You Beauty Advent Calendar Day 12

Okay, so I cheated a little, I opened this yesterday as I knew I wouldn’t be able to post tonight. Today or should I say yesterday, I opened my calendar to be greeted by this lovely lipgloss from Stila. This is my first ever product from Stila, so I will definitely do a full review after some more intensive testing. The applicator is interesting, it is a click operated brush, which dispenses the right amount supposedly. We shall see about that though. In terms of the shade, it is fairly safe, a very sparkly glitter filled pink. This shade would probably suit the majority of people. I can’t complain with this. Hope you all enjoy your evening and normal service will resume tomorrow with day 13.

£5 off any Stila cosmetics set using the code XMAS5

Have you tried any Stila products before? What do you think of this shade?

  1. Yes I have tried stila products. I like them. I used stila eye shadows in my Elsa Disney Frozen post from a few days ago. I also have a stila lip product like this. I like mine I just think the packaging is odd. I am just upset with stila because they are no longer cruelty free.

      • Well the thing is if a cosmetic company sells to countries like China they automatically have to test on animals. They may not do it themselves but hire another company do that. China has a huge population so if a company gets money hungry they may throw away their values and sell to China. It is Chinese law that if a cosmetic company is to sell in China that they must be tested on animals. I think China might be changing it’s policy soon. I have a post on animal cruelty stuff coming up in the near future.

  2. I’ve never used any Stila products because but I heard they are really good, so I’m planning to try them (although the fact that they are tested on animals makes me kinda angry….). I heard that the liquid eyeliner is good, and there are pretty good reviews of the lipgloss too….

Come check out my blog if you have time. I wrote a recent post comparing different bb creams

    • Thanks for dropping by. I’m pretty busy this weekend, but will pop over next week for a look.
Yeah I didn’t know they tested on animals, I certainly won’t be buying any more stuff xx
