Showing the Glitter in the Bottle

After the reaction I got last week from Jinx, I figured I would wear all of the shades I have from the Bond Girls collection from OPI. The collection was released last Spring/Summer and contained 6 shades, of which I have 4 but I will own the other 2 as they are gorgeous. I have already shown Vesper in a mani monday a few weeks ago, so it was between this gorgeous white/silver and the baby pink of Pussy Galore. This won. It is maybe a bit wintery, but I love it. I actually wore this to my graduation ball last year as an accent nail. Strange to think that it was a year ago I was organising the table plan for that. Strange to think its almost been a year since I sat my last exam in engineering composites.

On the Brush

As with all the liquid sands, this is textured and has incredible drying time. The colour itself is pretty much a shimmery white with some silver glitter in it. The silver glitter is much easier to see on the nails. Wear time was good, around 3 days before tip wear started to irritate me. Not really too much else to say other than I LOVE this colour. So sparkly and pretty.

How pretty?

Does this manicure scream winter at you or would you wear it in the summer like me?

  1. This looks stunning, but again I’d have to wear it with topcoat if I had it. It’d definitely be nice to wear in the winter as it does have that kind of snowy look, but it’s also quite delicate looking, which I think makes it perfect for the spring. xxx

      • It reminds me a little bit of Barry M’s Lady which I reviewed on my blog a while back. That’s a very similar colour and is a textured varnish but from what I can see from your photos it doesn’t have as much silver glitter in it. I have photos with and without topcoat if you do want to check out my post on it. Now that I’ve seen your photos I think I need to get it out again as it’ll be nice for spring. xxx

        • I think I remember your post actually now you mention it. This one only has the odd little bit of glitter in it, so it’s not too in your face. You should dig it out 🙂 Xx

          • I might dig it out, but I may wait until I buy a new matte topcoat, mine’s so goopy at the moment it’s almost unusable. I should really get rid of it but that means digging it out of a box underneath other boxes of nail varnish and I just can’t be bothered! xxx

            • I know the feeling. So many nail things you just can’t find anything or you know where it is but it’s too much effort to dig it out. Oh nail polish problems haha xxx

            • Definitely nail varnish problems! 🙂 It’s doing no harm sat in there, so it can still there until I want something else out of that box! xxx

    • Thanks. I used to be really messy, then I started using an old lip liner brush to clean any mess on the cuticles. Now I just paint and it generally comes out okay. Practice I guess. Still not as neat as I would like, but thanks for the kind comment 🙂 Xx

  2. LOVE that shade! It is so gorgeous! It does remind me a bit of Winter like you said, but still think this shade is amazing for all year. Perfect for those special events, like your graduation. Eeeew, engineering composites sound horrible! I have a couple weddings coming up this summer, and this would be a perfect shade to wear.

    • It went really well with the dress for my graduation ball too. Yeah so glad exams are over now although after working for a year I kinda want to go back to uni. it kind of is a perfect all year shade isn’t it?
